To be eligible for the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494) – subsequent entrant, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be under 45 years of age when you apply for the visa
- Have a family member who is a primary SESR visa holder or main applicant for a SESR visa
- Be nominated by the primary SESR visa holder’s work sponsor
- Show that you have Functional English
- Meet the health and character requirements
- Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused while in Australia
- Have paid back any debt owed to the Australian government
- Sign the Australian values statement
