Temporary Work (International relations) visa (subclass 403) - Government Agreement stream Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Temporary Work (International relations) visa (subclass 403) – Government Agreement stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be engaged under the terms and conditions of a bilateral agreement between the Australian Government and a government of another country
- Be supported by the signatories to the agreement
- Intend to meet the terms and conditions of the agreement
- Be able to support yourself and any dependents
- Hold a temporary substantive visa, if you are applying in Australia
- Meet the health and character requirements
- Have adequate health insurance
- Have a genuine temporary stay requirement
- Repay any debt owed to the Australian Government
- Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused
