- Have highly specialised skills, knowledge or experience that can help Australian business and can’t reasonably be found in Australia
- Only do the work or activities for which your visa was granted
- Have work that is non-ongoing
- Provide proof of your work
- Be able to support yourself and any dependants
- Meet the health and character requirements
- Be a genuine visitor with a genuine intention to stay temporarily in Australia
- Have paid back any debt owed to the Australian government
