Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) - Temporary Residence Transition stream Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) – Temporary Residence Transition stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a 457, TSS, or related bridging visa A, B, or C
- Have worked full-time for your employer for at least three years on your subclass 457 or subclass 482 visa
- Be nominated by your employer
- Have the required skills and qualifications needed to perform the tasks of the nominated occupation
- Be licensed, registered, or a member of a professional body if it is mandatory in the state or territory you intend to work in
- Be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating in Australia
- Meet the health and character requirements
- Sign the Australian values statement
- Have at least competent English
- Have paid back any debt owed to the Australian government
- Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused in Australia
