About You:

• Licensed and experienced Physio Therapist with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client rapport
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with advanced manual therapy and clinical skills
• Motivated and passionate individual with a desire to continuously learn and develop skills
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
• Committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

Your Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience preferred
• Proven ability to perform various therapy techniques: manual therapy, sports therapy, and rehabilitation
• Experience in managing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
• Certified in providing exercise and rehabilitation programs
• Experience and certification in dry needling and taping (both rigid & rock tape) preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of biomechanics, pain management, exercise prescription, and sporting injuries
• Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance and eligible for health fund provider numbers
• Membership with a relevant professional association
• Current Working with Children Check and certified in CPR & First Aid

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify physical conditions and develop effective treatment plans
• Utilise various techniques to address musculoskeletal and neurological issues, promoting healing and recovery
• Employ specific strategies to support athletes in achieving their best and reducing injury risk
• Deliver treatments that improve mobility, function, and overall well-being
• Provide exercise prescriptions and rehabilitation advice tailored to each client’s needs
• Utilise techniques like dry needling and taping to enhance the recovery process
• Assess clients’ physical condition and medical history, recommending exercises and strategies for optimal results
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
