Important Information for Online Applications
Applications submitted online at or after 12 am (AEST) on 1 July 2024 will be charged the new fees, irrespective of when the application was started. Ensure all supporting documents are included to avoid delays or the need to resubmit with the correct fee.
Note: ImmiAccount online services will be unavailable from 2 pm (AEST) on 30 June 2024 until 9 am (AEST) on 1 July 2024 due to systems maintenance.
Important Information for Paper Applications
For paper applications, the fee applicable is based on the date the Department receives the application, not the posting date. Applications received at or after 12 am (AEST) on 1 July 2024 will incur the new fees.
To avoid postal delays, online application submission is recommended. If an application is submitted with an incorrect fee, it will not be processed until the correct fee is paid. If you pre-paid a lower fee but missed the submission deadline, a ‘top-up’ payment can be made via ImmiAccount.
