Their community of healthcare professionals delivers collaborative and specialist telehealth care across various specialities, such as Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy, Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Paediatrics, Pain Management, Palliative Care, General Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Renal and Blood Pressure, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology, and Urology.

Additionally, they provide Allied Healthcare services via telehealth to NDIS participants, including Counselling, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and Mental Health Social Work.


About the Role

We seek a General Practitioner to provide high-quality care to residents in aged care facilities in and around Perth. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive consultations and reviews for aged care residents
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a nurse, telehealth geriatrician, and physician
  • Engage in regular communication with family members and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Daily Tasks:

  • Conducting patient consultations and assessments
  • Developing and managing personalised care plans
  • Prescribing medications and treatments
  • Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Utilising telehealth services to enhance patient access to specialised care

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Medical degree with full registration as a General Practitioner in Australia
  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM
  • Experience in aged care or a strong interest in working with elderly patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth platforms

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional qualifications or experience in geriatric medicine
  • Previous experience with telehealth services
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
