Bridging Visa A (BVA) (subclass 010)
This interim visa generally permits you to remain in Australia following the expiration of your current substantive visa while your new substantive visa application is being processed.
Bridging Visa B (BVB) (subclass 020)
This visa allows you to exit and re-enter Australia during a certain travel period while your substantive visa application is being processed.
Bridging Visa C (BVC) (subclass 030)
Much like the BVA, this temporary visa allows you to remain in Australia once your current substantive visa has expired and your new substantive visa application is under review.
Bridging Visa E (BVE) (subclasses 050 and 051)
This visa facilitates your lawful stay in Australia while you organise your departure, settle your immigration matter, or await an immigration decision.

Similar to the above, this visa lets you lawfully stay in Australia while you organise your departure, finalise your immigration matter or wait for an immigration decision.
Bridging Visa E (BVE) (subclass 051)
This visa permits you to stay in Australia while your Protection visa application is being processed.
Crew Travel Authority
This Authority is dedicated to international airline crew members without an Australian or New Zealand passport, or a valid Australian visa, who travel to and from Australia for work.
Former Resident Visa (subclass 151)
This permanent visa allows previous permanent residents and certain Australian Defence Force members to reside in Australia.
Maritime Crew Visa (subclass 988)
This visa is designed for foreign crew members on non-military ships on international voyages to enter Australia by sea. It also covers the partner or dependent child of a foreign crew member.
Medical Treatment Visa (subclass 602)
This temporary visa permits individuals to travel to or stay longer in Australia for medical treatment or to support someone who holds this visa and needs medical treatment. It's also for organ donors.
Resident Return Visa (subclasses 155 and 157)
This visa allows you to return to Australia as a permanent resident if your travel validity expires while you're outside of Australia, or after you leave.
Special Category visa (subclass 444) for New Zealand citizens
The Subclass 444 Special Category Visa (SCV) is a temporary visa available to New Zealand citizens looking to visit, study, stay, or work in Australia. Provided you meet the eligibility requirements, this visa is usually applied for each time you enter Australia.

Special Purpose Visa
This is a temporary visa that allows you to enter and stay in Australia while maintaining your prescribed status. You don't need to apply for this visa, as it's granted automatically to those with a 'prescribed status'.
Confirmatory (Residence) Visa (subclass 808)
This visa is for former holders of Norfolk Island entry permits. It allows you to stay in Australia indefinitely and travel overseas and back to Australia as a permanent resident until the travel component of your visa expires.
