Role Overview:

As an English Teacher, your primary role will be to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in English language and literature. You will be responsible for fostering an appreciation for literary analysis, creative writing, and effective communication among students. Your duties will include curriculum planning, assessment design, and participation in extracurricular activities related to English.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid Australian teaching certification with a specialisation in English.
• Demonstrates a deep passion for and knowledge of English literature and language.

For International Qualified Teachers: 

To qualify for the position, candidates with international teaching credentials must meet the following requirements:

• Hold international teaching qualifications.
• Fulfil one of the following educational requirements:
  • A four-year Bachelor of Education degree, OR
  • A three-year degree in any subject plus a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
• Provide evidence of completing at least 45 days of supervised teaching practice as part of the required initial teacher education program.
